Dr. Mohan Raj V: Advancing Oral Medicine Through Expertise and Innovation Dr. Mohan Raj V, an accomplished oral medicine and radiology specialist based in Bengaluru, India, has made remarkable strides in the field of dental science over a span of 15 years. Born on July 31, 1984, in Bengaluru, he has built an impressive profile as a clinician, academician, and researcher. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, his journey reflects a seamless integration of clinical excellence, academic contribution, and scientific exploration. After completing his BDS from Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital in 2008, he began his career as a lecturer at his alma mater. He then joined MS Ramaiah College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, where he continued to serve in an academic capacity until 2011. Alongside his teaching roles, he established his private practice—Cosmetic Dental Clinic—which operates in two locations: Magadi Road and Electronic City, Bengaluru. Among his notable presentations are “Micro RNAs as an Emerging Therapeutic Target in OSCC” at the International Digital Conference on Cancer (2021), and “Melatonin Supplement Attenuates Symptoms of Acute Nicotine Withdrawal in Cigarette Smokers” at the Global Virtual Conference on World No Tobacco Day (2021), for which he received second prize and an achievement certificate. Another commendable presentation was on “Salivary Gland Scintigraphy,” which won him second prize at the Kerala Triple O Summit in 2021.
