However, beyond qualifications, what sets him apart is his commitment to empowering students. Known for his consistently high student success rates, often exceeding 90%, he has earned admiration for his innovative and student-centric teaching methods. His lectures are not just informative but deeply engaging, leaving a lasting impact on learners year after year. A prolific researcher, he has authored 17 international journal papers, including several published in Q1-ranked journals, and presented 11 papers at international conferences. His contributions to academic literature also include one independently authored book and two co-authored works. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an active member of IETE and IE(I), regularly contributing to academic boards and curriculum development committees at various universities. His commitment extends far beyond the classroom. He has played a key role in shaping the student experience at SDMCET, having served as Dean of Students’ Welfare and Public Relations Officer. As an administrator, he has held significant positions, including Head of the Department of Information Science and Engineering from 2007 to 2014 and later as the In-Charge Head of Management Studies. Under his leadership, the department achieved 100% admissions for two consecutive years—a testament to his strategic foresight and effective leadership. Over the last three years, he has been instrumental in driving the digital transformation of the college as its IT Coordinator. His efforts led to the establishment of an IT Incubation Center, backed by a Rs. 40 lakh grant from the Government of Karnataka. As the Secretary and President of SDMCET’s Alumni Association for over two decades, he has mobilized substantial funds for infrastructure development, including an Alumni Block worth Rs. 1.5 crore and an Indoor Sports Complex worth Rs. 3 crore.
